The wireless internet was not working. The TV was out most of weekend. It is satellite so maybe the rain had something to do with it. The Campground has nice, easy pull through sites. The only issue was the activities were not run at times given to us and I thought the staff was a little unmotivated.

An actually campground, not a park or resort. Roads were gravel, sites were wooded and shaded. Fire rings were nice size stones. Reminded me of when I was a kid. They had a inflatable movie screen, and a hay ride. As for previous comments about the road from I-81 into the sight, I found no issue, I have driven tractor trailers on smaller less visible roads. Yes there was sharp turns, but they were wide enough to swing any RV ever built and you could see oncoming traffic easily. Getting around the camp ground itself would require a little attention and care, but if the site would hold the unit you could get it in. The Wi-Fi would work fine and then go out, not sure if it was just the amount of people using it or their ISP. It worked well enough for my needs. My only issue was the layout of some of the sites was confusing, some sites faced awning to awning which depending on your neighbor could be an issue. the hookups for ours was at the front of the site, but we could reach, depending on your RV it could be an issue. We will surely go again.

Nice location. Horrible insect problem. Mosquito's everywhere. We couldn't even sit outside. It was like swarms of them. Nice kids playground and the train ride was fun. Some of the spots require 4 wheel drive if it rains. The Wi-Fi is iffy at best. They have spots packed in so tight you wouldn't think there was space for an RV and yep, that's your spot. We moved sites and were one of only 2 campers on a 20 sight stretch, but somehow they assigned the site next two us to the next RV that came in. Why? they were all the same size options and all open grassy sites. They should have spaced it out. If it wasn't for the bugs I would stay there again, but it is just ridiculous how horrible the infestation was, and we have camped from Alabama to ME and this is the only place I couldn't stand to be outside. Not sure if they could spray our do something about them

This is one of the best KOA's I ever stayed at. The new Owners went out of there way to help us. The Hayride was awesome, the park was clean. It had tree's at every site, but not forest's. Price's in the store were very cheap. No price gouging. If your going to Cooperstown stay here in your camper, rent a cabin or RV they have. Everyone that came in got the attention of the owner and they would do whatever they could to help. We would stay there again.

It's a nice park if you want to go go go all the time doing activities, our son is only 2 so he couldn't do many of them. There is lots to do. The Down side is the large number of seasonal and fulltimers campers. They seem to have the run of the park. Their sites are mini homes with decks gazebo's, and depending on your taste somewhat gaudy. The parks proximity to NYC/NJ means you get the feeling your staying in one of the 5 boroughs. We never got a car tag when we checked in and the next day when I drove my son up the "hill" to the playground the security guard hollered at me and told me I couldn't go any further without a tag. The sites were filled with pea gravel so they drained well and were fairly level. If you wanted to go somewhere with stuff to do all day and don't mind crowds this would be an ok place, just not for us. We wouldn't go back.

We stayed here one night. It is very Friendly. A nice quiet campground with the standard things to do. All sites very shaded. The only problem is the Mosquitoes which is more of a problem with the state than the campground. It is a 5 minute drive to the ocean. We would stop there again.

It is small. Getting there from the interstate is a little backwards. There are way to many full timers for our taste, and some of them had pretty trashy sites. The site we were given shared hook ups and I could touch my neighbors camper if I leaned out of my window. The rest rooms were clean, but need updating. The pond was scum covered. We wouldn't stay there again, I like to camp with campers not with a group of people who already know each other and I am invading "their" park.
